Monday- we always begin with a prayer night the night before. We each choose time slots throughout the night to wake up and spend time with the Lord and pray over the week. I had the 1 am slot and I read over Colossians!! We then woke up and of course had our morning coffee and Jesus time. We went to a meeting and got introduced to all the staff that worked for Adventures in Missions. We helped out with a project there then went to downtown Manzini and got our groceries for the week!! We also got to pick mangoes! I made dinner with two of my friends and then got to hang the rest of the night!

Tuesday- The entire squad joined us at the care point this day! We all got to helping put a soccer field together for the kids and I helped cook! The teacher and I did some push-ups too! I did unfortunately get puked on by a child but that’s just how it is sometimes.

Wednesday- It rained!! As we got to the care point because of the rain there was only two kids. Luckily my whole squad didn’t come this day only my team! We got to do a Bible study with the Shepard (in charge of the care point). We then went and helped cook and got to know all the adults so much better. It was such a sweet time. Once the older kids got there, we acted out the story of Daniel and the Lions den! However after ray we had to leave early because of the rain! We had pasta for dinner and since worship this night got cancelled, we held a mini one in our house:) it was very sweet!

Thursday- we had such a sweet surprise today where we decided to not go to the care points and go to downtown Manzini and do an ATL day! This means ask the Lord and it’s just evangelizing! Our bus driver was late which gave us more time for our morning Jesus and coffee time which ended up being so good. Andrew and Caleb began speaking with a man and as he did, we all stepped aside to pray. After a few minutes, they came back just saying that the man said come back on Monday. We decided to pray over him separately and as we were praying a lady joined. She said that she felt the Lord telling her to join and we got to talk with her and we prayed over her as she shared some of her story. She was so kind and after our conversation we prayed over her again and have her some money. It was such a cool experience and It helped me a lot through the thought of evangelizing. We then went home and had a really powerful worship night with the squad. What a cool day

Friday- Friday was another very rainy day! We had to walk up this super long dirt road like we normally do to get picked up but it was pouring and of course i forgot my umbrella and rain jacket. Once we got to the care point, there were no kids at all. We got to talk with the adults again which was again really cool and really helped create a relationship with them. We do a little worship session with them and just share some things the Lord has been putting on our hearts. The older kids then started trickling in because school got out in result of the rain. They all stood under a pavilion and I sang every single camp song I could think of that they would understand. After a while of that we left and me and Andrew made some dinner and then we hung the rest of the night!

Saturday- Saturday is sabbath so we stay at the homestead and rest. We had a longer coffee morning and just hung around it was much needed.

Sunday- we got to go to a Swazi church! It was so incredibly cool. Seeing the difference between church in the states and church overseas is mind blowing. The congregation is very small and it’s very Holy Spirit led. There’s no instruments and the pastor just talks until he feels he is finished. No timer or time limit. We then go to town and get dinner at THE BEST chicken place and we get WiFi to be able to talk to our family!!

That is just an insight into a week in Eswatini! So much more goes into it and I’m so thankful for everything I am doing and where I am right now!!
